What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Yacht Week DAO, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “The club you can't buy into.” and the subhead says “An invite-only community of builders who meet on a boat once a year. Membership is earned, not flipped.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Bored Ape, you replace Yacht Week DAO with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Bored Ape is a dark template: a brown background (#3f1f10), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 13.3:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with rolling waves, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Bold layout, shared with 59 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Bored Ape's own.

How it compares
Within Crypto / Web3, Bored Ape stands out for its vivid amber accent on a brown ground. If it is not quite right, Gold Chain is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and tumbling coins (“Hammered gold, neon shadow”). Azuki Red flips to a light white canvas with a red accent and an animated brush layer (“Anime red, brush stroke”). Pudgy Penguin flips to a light pale sky blue canvas with a vivid sky blue accent and gently falling snow (“Ice penguin, mint”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
