What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Skyglint, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Tonight, the sky might dance” and the subhead says “Skyglint pings your phone when solar wind, cloud cover and darkness line up for aurora right where you're standing.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Northern Lights, you replace Skyglint with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Northern Lights is a dark template: a near-black blue background (#020617), light emerald type (#a7f3d0) and an emerald accent (#34d399) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with aurora ribbons rippling across the sky, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Aurora layout, shared with 36 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Northern Lights's own.

How it compares
Within Nature, Northern Lights stands out for its emerald accent on a near-black blue ground. If it is not quite right, Deep Forest is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and a swaying forest silhouette (“Moss and pine. Quiet wood”). Ocean Waves is also dark but leans on a vivid sky blue accent and rolling waves (“Layered blue, slow tide”). Cherry Blossom flips to a light pink-tinted white canvas with a vivid pink accent and petals drifting down (“Soft pink petals on cream”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
