What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Candlecount, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Never forget a birthday again.” and the subhead says “A birthday reminder app that suggests gifts, schedules cards and reminds you a week before. Friendship saved.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Birthday Cake, you replace Candlecount with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Birthday Cake is a light template: a cream background (#fef3c7), brown type (#7c2d12) and a vivid pink accent (#ec4899) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 8.4:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with flickering candlelight, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Pastel layout, shared with 58 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Birthday Cake's own.

How it compares
Within Playful, Birthday Cake stands out for its vivid pink accent on a cream ground. If it is not quite right, Claymorphism Studio is also light but leans on a light violet accent (“3D-soft shapes. Pillowy buttons. Cloud light”). Cloud Nine is also light but leans on a vivid blue accent and clouds drifting past (“Soft sky, fluffy edges”).
