The design radiates innocent optimism and unburdened lightness that welcomes visitors. Your referral leaderboard becomes a shared cloud where top contributors drift toward recognition like balloons in boundless sky.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Daydream, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your ideas, floating somewhere safe.” and the subhead says “A dreamy notes app for random thoughts, song lyrics and shower ideas. Capture everything, stress about nothing.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Cloud Nine, you replace Daydream with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Cloud Nine is a light template: a pale sky blue background (#dbeafe), dark blue type (#1e3a8a) and a vivid blue accent (#3b82f6) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 8.5:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with clouds drifting past, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Pastel layout, shared with 58 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Cloud Nine's own.

How it compares
Within Playful, Cloud Nine stands out for its vivid blue accent on a pale sky blue ground. If it is not quite right, Cat Paws is also light but leans on a vivid orange accent and floating hearts (“Cozy beige, soft mews”). Candy Cane is also light but leans on a red accent and an animated stripes layer (“Red and white striped sweet”). Gummy Bear is also light but leans on a violet accent and lava-lamp blobs rising and splitting (“Translucent rainbow chew”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
