What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Softserve, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “The kindest to-do list alive.” and the subhead says “A gentle task app with rounded everything, zero red badges and a little cheer every time you finish something.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Pastel, you replace Softserve with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Pastel is a light template: a pale pink background (#fbcfe8), dark pink type (#831843) and a vivid pink accent (#ec4899) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with clouds drifting past, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. The layout is hand-built for Pastel and not shared with any other template in the catalogue.

How it compares
Within Playful, Pastel stands out for its vivid pink accent on a pale pink ground. If it is not quite right, Rainbow Pop is also light but leans on a violet accent and Memphis-style squiggles and shapes (“Each letter a different hue”). Balloon Party is also light but leans on a light pink accent and balloons floating upward (“Floating balloons, blue sky”). Taco Truck is also light but leans on a red accent and falling confetti (“Salsa red, fiesta yellow”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
