What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Borrowfest, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Two days of fearless systems talk.” and the subhead says “Borrowfest is an indie conference for systems programmers, with deep-dive talks, live coding and hallway debates about lifetimes.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Rust Orange, you replace Borrowfest with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Rust Orange is a dark template: a near-black vermilion background (#1c0e02), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid orange accent (#f59e0b) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 16.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with turning gears, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Rust Orange's own.

How it compares
Within Tech, Rust Orange stands out for its vivid orange accent on a near-black vermilion ground. If it is not quite right, Go Cyan is also dark but leans on a vivid cyan accent and bubbles rising to the surface (“Gopher cyan, simple pkg”). Python Indigo is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and scrolling terminal output (“Indented indigo, batteries included”). Zig Orange is also dark but leans on a vivid vermilion accent and circuit traces lighting up (“No hidden control flow”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
