About the Slashing Red template
Slashing Red evokes the validator's worst nightmare—the crimson slash that cuts your stake, the penalty for misbehavior in proof-of-stake networks. The scarlet accent on near-black reads as urgent financial consequence, not casual advertisement. Staking platforms, validator infrastructure, and penalty-aware crypto apps will feel the high-stakes tension. It's a template that says: this matters, and mistakes cost. Your built-in referral leaderboard becomes a risk-management dashboard—tracking which validators are bringing in trustworthy network participants.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Slashguard, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your validator's insurance policy.” and the subhead says “Monitor double-signs and downtime in real time and get alerted before a slash can hit your stake.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Slashing Red, you replace Slashguard with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Slashing Red is a dark template: a near-black pink background (#1a0510), pale red type (#fee2e2) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 16:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with glitch slices and RGB shifts, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Slashing Red's own.

How it compares
Within Crypto / Web3, Slashing Red stands out for its red accent on a near-black pink ground. If it is not quite right, Gold Chain is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and tumbling coins (“Hammered gold, neon shadow”). Merkle Tree is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and an animated merkle layer (“Hash root green”). Multisig Grey is also dark but leans on a mid grey accent and turning gears (“Threshold sig vault”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
