What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Runecarver, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your story, carved in stone.” and the subhead says “An AI worldbuilding tool that generates languages, runes and histories for your fantasy novel.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Ancient Runes, you replace Runecarver with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Ancient Runes is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1c1917), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with glowing runes, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Letter layout, shared with 77 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Ancient Runes's own.

How it compares
Within Fantasy, Ancient Runes stands out for its vivid amber accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Elven Silver is also dark but leans on a pale sky blue accent and a moonlit sky (“Silver leaf, moonlight pale”). Sorcerer Purple is also dark but leans on a violet accent and storm clouds and flashes of lightning (“Deep violet, lightning crack”). Witch's Brew is also dark but leans on a vivid green accent and bubbles rising to the surface (“Cauldron green, candle flicker”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
