What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Brassfolio, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Rare books from dealers who read them” and the subhead says “A curated marketplace for first editions and signed copies, each listing verified and described by an independent dealer.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Mahogany Desk, you replace Brassfolio with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Mahogany Desk is a dark template: a brown background (#3f1f10), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 13.3:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with soft out-of-focus bokeh lights, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Letter layout, shared with 77 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Mahogany Desk's own.

How it compares
Within Luxury, Mahogany Desk stands out for its vivid amber accent on a brown ground. If it is not quite right, Marble Lounge flips to a light white canvas with a brown accent and veined marble swirling (“White stone, gold inlays”). Parisian Mirror is also dark but leans on a light grey accent and Art Deco fans and sunbursts (“Gilded frame, tarnished silver”). Silk Wallpaper is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and folding origami shapes (“Damask pattern, deep teal”).
