About the Doodle Pad template
Doodle Pad captures the aesthetic of notebook margins—pale cream background with charcoal sketches, the paper-grid barely visible. It's casual, handmade, the visual language of a student mid-lecture jotting ideas. Indie education platforms, study-tool apps, and creative-community projects will find authenticity here; this is how ideas actually look before they're polished. What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Margins, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your notebook margins, digitized.” and the subhead says “A doodle-friendly notes app on graph paper where sketches and text live happily side by side.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Doodle Pad, you replace Margins with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Doodle Pad is a light template: a yellow-tinted white background (#fefce8), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a near-black accent (#0c0a09) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 19.1:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with hand-drawn doodles, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Doodle Pad's own.

How it compares
Within Playful, Doodle Pad stands out for its near-black accent on a yellow-tinted white ground. If it is not quite right, Ice Pop is also light but leans on a vivid cyan accent and rolling waves (“Tropical ice stick”). Cookie Dough is also light but leans on a brown accent and candy sprinkles (“Buttery beige, choc chip”). Marshmallow is also light but leans on a brown accent and soft out-of-focus bokeh lights (“Pillow soft, cocoa brown”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
