About the Biodome template
Biodome evokes a sealed, pressurized habitat on an alien planet—the charred background is rust-red dirt at dusk, while the bright, almost electric green accent suggests plant life under artificial sun. What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Domegrow, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Fresh herbs under your own dome” and the subhead says “Domegrow is a countertop glass garden with smart lighting and self-watering, so basil survives even your busiest weeks.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Biodome, you replace Domegrow with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Biodome is a dark template: a near-black vermilion background (#1a0a06), pale emerald type (#bbf7d0) and an emerald accent (#22c55e) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with fireflies blinking in the dark, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Glass layout, shared with 82 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Biodome's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Biodome stands out for its emerald accent on a near-black vermilion ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Hadron Lab is also dark but leans on a violet accent and concentric orbits (“Beam-tunnel violet hum”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
