About the April Shower template
April Shower brings spring rain indoors: soft blue sky background with slate-blue accents and deep text evoking pre-storm humidity. Umbrella brands, seasonal launches, and gardening apps choose this palette creating renewal and anticipation sanctuary. Blue-on-blue color harmony is calming rather than energizing, making waitlist feel like gentle invitation rather than hard sell—perfect for audiences responding better to quiet moments than aggressive CTAs.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Puddlejump, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Rain boots kids actually wear.” and the subhead says “Lightweight, fold-flat rain boots in happy colors. Designed for jumping, not just walking.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use April Shower, you replace Puddlejump with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
April Shower is a light template: a pale sky blue background (#dbeafe), dark blue type (#1e3a8a) and a sky blue accent (#0284c7) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 8.5:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with falling rain streaks, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Aurora layout, shared with 36 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are April Shower's own.

How it compares
Within Seasonal, April Shower stands out for its sky blue accent on a pale sky blue ground. If it is not quite right, May Flower is also light but leans on a red accent and petals drifting down (“Tulip rows, sun”). Mothers Day is also light but leans on a vivid pink accent and petals drifting down (“Soft pink card, rose”). Fathers Day flips to a dark deep blue canvas with a vivid amber accent and threads of gold weaving through (“Tie navy, brass clip”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
