About the Ed Hardy template
Ed Hardy screams mid-2000s mall fashion—black grounds, blazing red accents, tattoo-art maximalism and rhinestone swagger. This palette aches with early-2000s certainty and design fearlessness. Fashion brands channeling 2000s energy, streetwear nostalgia, and bold design lovers gravitate here. Track referrals—this aesthetic makes people want to tell friends immediately.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Inkroar, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Loud tattoo flash, stitched onto streetwear” and the subhead says “Inkroar is a streetwear drop of rhinestone tattoo-flash tees and jackets, drawn by independent tattoo artists.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Ed Hardy, you replace Inkroar with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Ed Hardy is a dark template: a near-black background (#0a0a0a), white type (#fafafa) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 19:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with glowing embers rising, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Bold layout, shared with 59 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Ed Hardy's own.

How it compares
Within Y2K, Ed Hardy stands out for its red accent on a near-black ground. If it is not quite right, Chrome Pop flips to a light pale sky blue canvas with a light violet accent and liquid chrome flowing across the page (“Liquid silver, bubble shapes”). Bubble Wrap flips to a light pale sky blue canvas with a vivid pink accent and bubbles rising to the surface (“Pink/blue translucent bubbles”). Holographic is also dark but leans on a light cyan accent and an iridescent sheen that shifts hue (“Iridescent foil, prism shimmer”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
