About the MS Paint template
Pixel-splash red and white evoke Windows Paint's brush tool, the 1990s aesthetic of digital naïveté and accidental art. Your form sits rendered like a rectangle drawn with unsteady hand. Real-time analytics measure brush-stroke velocity showing how quickly visitors paint themselves into signup.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Brushbit, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Bad drawings welcome. Encouraged, actually.” and the subhead says “Brushbit is a chunky pixel painting app with a spray can, a bucket fill, and zero pressure to be good.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use MS Paint, you replace Brushbit with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
MS Paint is a light template: a white background (#fafafa), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 18.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with watercolour washes bleeding together, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Bold layout, shared with 59 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are MS Paint's own.

How it compares
Within Y2K, MS Paint stands out for its red accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, 3D Pipes flips to a dark near-black canvas with a vivid cyan accent and circuit traces lighting up (“Drifting pipes, dim CRT”). Flying Toaster flips to a dark deep blue canvas with a vivid amber accent and clouds drifting past (“Bread morning sky”). Starfield Screensaver flips to a dark near-black blue canvas with a white accent and stars streaking past at warp speed (“Old Win starfield”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
Launch with MS Paint in three steps
- Click “Use this template” and create a free account; MS Paint is preselected in the page wizard.
- Replace the Brushbit demo copy with your product's headline and one-line pitch, pick a URL, and optionally set a launch date to show a real countdown.
- Publish and share the link. Every subscriber gets a personal referral link, and you watch signups and top referrers arrive in the dashboard.
