About the iPod White template
iPod White resurrects Steve Jobs' minimalist whisper—near-white (#fafaf7) with pure-black text and accents (#0c0a09), echoing the click-wheel simplicity that redefined personal music and industrial design purity. Apple devotees, design-first startups, and anyone prioritizing elegance through reduction gather here in a palette that lets your offer sing without accompaniment. The stark monochromatic geometry suggests that every element has been pared to pure necessity. Custom domains position your waitlist as a clickable wheel toward future listening.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Clickspin, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your library deserves a click wheel” and the subhead says “Clickspin is a music player app with a tactile spinning wheel, satisfying clicks, and playlists you build by hand.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use iPod White, you replace Clickspin with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
iPod White is a light template: a white background (#fafaf7), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a near-black accent (#0c0a09) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 18.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with ripples spreading across still water, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are iPod White's own.

How it compares
Within Y2K, iPod White stands out for its near-black accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, iPod Nano is also light but leans on a near-black accent and bouncing equalizer bars (“Anodized green nano”). Walkman Yellow is also light but leans on a red accent and rolling waves (“Sport tape, beach foam”). MiniDisc Silver is also light but leans on a vivid cyan accent and an animated glass bloom layer (“Square disc, silver shell”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
