What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Latecram, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Study at 2am, but smarter.” and the subhead says “Spaced repetition flashcards that adapt to how tired you are. Your all-nighter just got a strategy.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Midnight Study, you replace Latecram with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Midnight Study is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1c1917), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with soft out-of-focus bokeh lights, kept quiet behind the copy; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Midnight Study's own.

How it compares
Within Dark Academia, Midnight Study stands out for its vivid amber accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Dean Office is also dark but leans on a brown accent and an animated pages layer (“Mahogany desk, brass plaque”). Rare Books is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and scattered sparkles (“Vellum binding, gold gilt”). Rainy Quad is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and falling rain streaks (“Stone arch, ivy wet”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
