What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Wyrmhold, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “The dragons wake at launch.” and the subhead says “A co-op survival game where you raise, ride and defend dragons across a living open world.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Dragon Scales, you replace Wyrmhold with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Dragon Scales is a dark template: a deep emerald background (#0a1f14), pale emerald type (#dcfce7) and an emerald accent (#16a34a) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with a glowing hex grid, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Dragon Scales's own.

How it compares
Within Fantasy, Dragon Scales stands out for its emerald accent on a deep emerald ground. If it is not quite right, Enchanted Forest is also dark but leans on a vivid green accent and fireflies blinking in the dark (“Lit moss, fireflies in the dark”). Mana Pool is also dark but leans on a light blue accent and ripples spreading across still water (“Glowing arcane blue”). Ancient Runes is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and glowing runes (“Etched stone, candlelight”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
