About the Mech Steam template
Mech Steam fuses brass and steam—burnt-orange accent on charcoal, the aesthetic of Victorian-era automatons and clockwork giants. It's steampunk without the costume-party feel; instead, it reads as alternate-history engineering. What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Brassgolem, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “A robot kit with a steam-age soul.” and the subhead says “Build a clockwork-style robot that walks, waves and puffs harmless vapor. Kids and adults both welcome.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Mech Steam, you replace Brassgolem with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Mech Steam is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1c1917), pale orange type (#fed7aa) and a vivid vermilion accent (#ea580c) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 12.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with low rolling fog, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Mech Steam's own.

How it compares
Within Fantasy, Mech Steam stands out for its vivid vermilion accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Dwarven Ale is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and bubbles rising to the surface (“Tankard foam, hearth bench”). Elven Glade is also dark but leans on a light emerald accent and leaves tumbling through the frame (“Tree city, silver leaf”). High Elf flips to a light cream canvas with a brown accent and scattered sparkles (“Pale gold, regal silver”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
