What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Tidetail, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Swim like a mermaid. Seriously.” and the subhead says “Monofin swim classes for adults in heated pools. Learn the tail kick, then find the ocean.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Mermaid Kelp, you replace Tidetail with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Mermaid Kelp is a dark template: a deep teal background (#022c22), light emerald type (#a7f3d0) and a vivid cyan accent (#06b6d4) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 11.8:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with an animated kelp layer, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Aurora layout, shared with 36 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Mermaid Kelp's own.

How it compares
Within Fantasy, Mermaid Kelp stands out for its vivid cyan accent on a deep teal ground. If it is not quite right, Siren Song is also dark but leans on a light rose accent and rolling waves (“Coastal rock, lure light”). Gryphon Feather is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and leaves tumbling through the frame (“Iron-grey wing, gold tip”). Basilisk Eye is also dark but leans on a vivid green accent and a swirling portal (“Stone-stare green”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
