What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Squidink, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Fountain pen ink from the deep.” and the subhead says “Shimmering deep-sea fountain pen inks in abyssal blues and blacks. Small batches, bottled by hand.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Kraken Ink, you replace Squidink with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Kraken Ink is a dark template: a near-black blue background (#020617), pale cyan type (#cffafe) and a vivid cyan accent (#06b6d4) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 18:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with ink blooming through water, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Kraken Ink's own.

How it compares
Within Fantasy, Kraken Ink stands out for its vivid cyan accent on a near-black blue ground. If it is not quite right, Mermaid Kelp is also dark but leans on a vivid cyan accent and an animated kelp layer (“Tangled kelp, scale glint”). Siren Song is also dark but leans on a light rose accent and rolling waves (“Coastal rock, lure light”). Gryphon Feather is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and leaves tumbling through the frame (“Iron-grey wing, gold tip”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
