What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Umbral, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “The dark mode for your whole life.” and the subhead says “A system-wide dimmer that turns every app, site and document dark. Your eyes will write you thank-you notes.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Shadow Realm, you replace Umbral with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Shadow Realm is a dark template: a near-black blue background (#020617), white type (#fafafa) and a mid grey accent (#a3a3a3) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 19.3:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with drifting nebula clouds, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Shadow Realm's own.

How it compares
Within Fantasy, Shadow Realm stands out for its mid grey accent on a near-black blue ground. If it is not quite right, Underdark Violet is also dark but leans on a violet accent and fireflies blinking in the dark (“Deep cave, faerie fire”). Ethereal Silver is also dark but leans on a pale sky blue accent and a moonlit sky (“Mirror plane, moon glaze”). Mech Steam is also dark but leans on a vivid vermilion accent and low rolling fog (“Brass golem, steam plume”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
