About the Supernova template

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Afterburst, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “The star dies in eight hours” and the subhead says “Afterburst is a narrative adventure about saying goodbye to a doomed colony before its sun goes out in gold.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Supernova, you replace Afterburst with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Supernova is a dark template: a near-black blue background (#020617), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 18.1:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with fireworks bursting, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Supernova's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Supernova stands out for its vivid amber accent on a near-black blue ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Wormhole is also dark but leans on a violet accent and a swirling portal (“Spiral tunnel, violet event”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
