About the Neutron Star template
Pure white accent on pure black—Neutron Star strips away ornament and leaves only intensity, a choice that speaks to physics engines, quantum tools, and fintech platforms. The extreme contrast demands precision from typography and spacing; clumsy layouts collapse. Your signup leaderboard becomes a compact, monochromatic artifact—functional, unadorned, and harder to ignore than color.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Densecore, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Uptime alerts with zero noise” and the subhead says “Densecore watches your APIs and pages you only when something is truly broken, with stark, readable incident timelines.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Neutron Star, you replace Densecore with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Neutron Star is a dark template: a near-black background (#0a0a0a), white type (#fafafa) and a white accent (#ffffff) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 19:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with ripples spreading across still water, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Neutron Star's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Neutron Star stands out for its white accent on a near-black ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Supernova is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and fireworks bursting (“Final flare, gold burst”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
