What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Regolith, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Build a colony. Keep the air on.” and the subhead says “Regolith is a cooperative board game where two to four players build a lunar base and ration oxygen together.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Moon Base, you replace Regolith with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Moon Base is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1c1917), off-white type (#e7e5e4) and a white accent (#fafaf7) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 13.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with slowly orbiting planets, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Moon Base's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Moon Base stands out for its white accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Orbital Dock is also dark but leans on a vivid sky blue accent and slowly orbiting planets (“Steel dock, Earth horizon”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
