What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Rivetbot, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Built like it's going to the Moon” and the subhead says “Rivetbot is a machined-aluminum robotics kit for makers who want real hardware, open firmware, and zero plastic clips.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Lunar Module, you replace Rivetbot with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Lunar Module is a dark template: a near-black background (#0a0a0a), white type (#fafafa) and a mid grey accent (#a3a3a3) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 19:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with a moonlit sky, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Lunar Module's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Lunar Module stands out for its mid grey accent on a near-black ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Cryosleep is also dark but leans on a light cyan accent and bubbles rising to the surface (“Frozen pod, blue mist”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
