About the Halo Array template

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Plasmacon, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “One weekend. One ring. No sleep.” and the subhead says “Plasmacon is a space-opera LAN party with co-op campaigns, custom maps, and an unreasonable amount of blue lighting.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Halo Array, you replace Plasmacon with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Halo Array is a dark template: a near-black blue background (#020617), pale sky blue type (#e0f2fe) and a vivid sky blue accent (#0ea5e9) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 17.6:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with shafts of light falling through the frame, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Holodeck layout, shared with 11 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Halo Array's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Halo Array stands out for its vivid sky blue accent on a near-black blue ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Neutron Star is also dark but leans on a white accent and ripples spreading across still water (“Compact pulse, white-hot”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
