About the Holographic template

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Irisette, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Wear the whole spectrum” and the subhead says “Irisette makes iridescent foil jackets that shift from rose to ice-blue every time you move under the lights.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Holographic, you replace Irisette with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Holographic is a dark template: a near-black pink background (#1a0510), pale pink type (#fce7f3) and a light cyan accent (#a5f3fc) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 16.6:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with an iridescent sheen that shifts hue, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Aurora layout, shared with 36 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Holographic's own.

How it compares
Within Y2K, Holographic stands out for its light cyan accent on a near-black pink ground. If it is not quite right, Mirror Ball is also dark but leans on a light violet accent and mirror-ball reflections (“Disco mirror, party glow”). CD-ROM flips to a light pale sky blue canvas with a vivid cyan accent and an iridescent sheen that shifts hue (“Rainbow disc, plastic case”). LCD Screen flips to a light green canvas with a near-black accent and drifting pixel blocks (“Pixelated grey-green numerals”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
