What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Underground, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “The mining museum you can sleep in.” and the subhead says “Overnight stays in a converted mine shaft with guided tours, lamp-lit dinners and very thick walls.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Coal Seam, you replace Underground with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Coal Seam is a dark template: a near-black background (#0a0a0a), pale orange type (#fed7aa) and a vivid vermilion accent (#fb923c) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 14.6:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with glowing embers rising, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Coal Seam's own.

How it compares
Within Industrial, Coal Seam stands out for its vivid vermilion accent on a near-black ground. If it is not quite right, Quarry Grey flips to a light off-white canvas with a dark grey accent and dust motes floating in the light (“Cut limestone, dust”). Silo Steel flips to a light pale sky blue canvas with a mid grey accent and clouds drifting past (“Grain silo, sky blue”). Conveyor Belt is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an animated conveyor layer (“Black belt, parts moving”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
