About the Frozen Lake template
Frozen Lake pairs crystalline blue with dark navy accents—a palette of cracked ice and distant pine forests where silence feels like sound. Perfect for outdoor recreation startups, winter-sport brands, and nature education, it evokes alpine clarity without resort glitz. The pale-blue foundation creates breathing room while the dark accents anchor content like anchored sleds. Qubed's real-time analytics help you capture which outdoor enthusiasts discover you.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Frostgauge, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Test the ice before you trust it” and the subhead says “Frostgauge is a clip-on probe that measures ice thickness in seconds and shares readings on a live lake map.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Frozen Lake, you replace Frostgauge with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Frozen Lake is a light template: a pale sky blue background (#dbeafe), deep blue type (#0c1233) and a deep blue accent (#0c1233) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with gently falling snow, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Frozen Lake's own.

How it compares
Within Nature, Frozen Lake stands out for its deep blue accent on a pale sky blue ground. If it is not quite right, Highland Loch flips to a dark deep sky blue canvas with a mid grey accent and layered mountain ridges (“Misty water, granite shore”). Rolling Hill is also light but leans on an emerald accent and layered mountain ridges (“Tuscan slope, cypress line”). Vineyard Row is also light but leans on an emerald accent and a rising sun and warm light (“Trellis green, sunset gold”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
