What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Saltplane, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Architecture with nothing left to remove” and the subhead says “Saltplane is a quarterly print zine featuring one quiet, minimal building per issue, photographed in wide open light.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Salt Flat, you replace Saltplane with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Salt Flat is a light template: a white background (#fafaf7), deep blue type (#0c1233) and a sky blue accent (#0284c7) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 17.5:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with liquid chrome flowing across the page, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Salt Flat's own.

How it compares
Within Nature, Salt Flat stands out for its sky blue accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, Kelp Canopy flips to a dark deep teal canvas with a vivid green accent and shafts of light falling through the frame (“Sun shafts through algae”). Coral Reef flips to a dark deep sky blue canvas with a light rose accent and small fish swimming past (“Pastel anemone, reef life”). Seabird Cliff flips to a dark deep sky blue canvas with a white accent and clouds drifting past (“Whitewashed rock, blue sea”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
