About the Kelp Canopy template
Kelp Canopy translates the ocean's dappled-light aesthetic—sun shafts breaking through algae forests, bright lime-green accent on deep forest-green hull. It's underwater magic made visible, the bioluminescent depths where sunlight barely reaches. Marine conservation platforms, ocean-tech startups, and aquatic-themed experiences will feel the three-dimensional depth. The layered greens create optical richness; visitors sense they're inside something vast and living. What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Shaftlight, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your eyes inside the kelp canopy” and the subhead says “Shaftlight is a palm-sized underwater drone that surveys kelp beds on autopilot and uploads footage for research teams.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Kelp Canopy, you replace Shaftlight with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Kelp Canopy is a dark template: a deep teal background (#022c22), green type (#bef264) and a vivid green accent (#84cc16) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 11.6:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with shafts of light falling through the frame, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Aurora layout, shared with 36 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Kelp Canopy's own.

How it compares
Within Nature, Kelp Canopy stands out for its vivid green accent on a deep teal ground. If it is not quite right, Coral Reef is also dark but leans on a light rose accent and small fish swimming past (“Pastel anemone, reef life”). Seabird Cliff is also dark but leans on a white accent and clouds drifting past (“Whitewashed rock, blue sea”). Driftwood Beach flips to a light cream canvas with a brown accent and rolling waves (“Salt-bleached wood, low tide”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
