About the Coral Reef template

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Reefkind, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Sunscreen the reef won't mind” and the subhead says “Reefkind is a mineral sunscreen made without the ingredients that stress coral, in a refillable tin you keep for years.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Coral Reef, you replace Reefkind with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Coral Reef is a dark template: a deep sky blue background (#082f49), pale cyan type (#cffafe) and a light rose accent (#fb7185) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 12.4:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with small fish swimming past, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Sunset layout, shared with 47 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Coral Reef's own.

How it compares
Within Nature, Coral Reef stands out for its light rose accent on a deep sky blue ground. If it is not quite right, Seabird Cliff is also dark but leans on a white accent and clouds drifting past (“Whitewashed rock, blue sea”). Driftwood Beach flips to a light cream canvas with a brown accent and rolling waves (“Salt-bleached wood, low tide”). Tide Pool is also dark but leans on a light rose accent and underwater light caustics (“Pebble pool, anemone pink”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
