What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Rimreport, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Fresh trail conditions, straight from the rim” and the subhead says “Rimreport collects same-day trail notes from fellow hikers, so you know about snow, washouts and water before you go.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Canyon Rim, you replace Rimreport with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Canyon Rim is a dark template: a near-black vermilion background (#1c0e02), pale orange type (#fed7aa) and a vivid vermilion accent (#ea580c) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 13.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with shifting sand dunes, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Sunset layout, shared with 47 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Canyon Rim's own.

How it compares
Within Nature, Canyon Rim stands out for its vivid vermilion accent on a near-black vermilion ground. If it is not quite right, Sequoia Red is also dark but leans on a brown accent and a swaying forest silhouette (“Giant trunks, deep dim”). Petrified Wood is also dark but leans on a brown accent and veined marble swirling (“Mineral grain, stone bark”). Pebble Shore flips to a light off-white canvas with a sky blue accent and rolling waves (“Smooth stones, lapping waves”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
