What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Stratacast, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Rocks have stories. We read them aloud” and the subhead says “Stratacast is a weekly podcast that walks through one landscape per episode, layer by layer, from ancient seabed to today.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Badlands Sand, you replace Stratacast with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Badlands Sand is a light template: a cream background (#fef3c7), brown type (#3f2f0e) and a brown accent (#92400e) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 11.6:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with shifting sand dunes, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Sunset layout, shared with 47 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Badlands Sand's own.

How it compares
Within Nature, Badlands Sand stands out for its brown accent on a cream ground. If it is not quite right, River Stone is also light but leans on an emerald accent and veined marble swirling (“Smooth grey, mossy edges”). Mountain Dusk flips to a dark dark indigo canvas with a light violet accent and layered mountain ridges (“Lavender peak, indigo valley”). Mossy Creek flips to a dark deep green canvas with a dark green accent and falling rain streaks (“Wet stone, moss line”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
