About the Linear template
Linear Clean is inspired by the high-water mark of modern software design. It features a pristine, off-white background (#fafaf7) paired with a sophisticated indigo call-to-action (#5e6ad2) and sharp charcoal typography (#0c0a09). The layout suggests technical competence and professional polish, making it the perfect home for products that promise to streamline workflows and improve organizational efficiency through deep, thoughtful engineering.
Choose this if you are building a productivity tool, a project management suite, or a high-performance technical platform. It is likely too sterile for a luxury fashion brand or a high-energy consumer social app. The aesthetic is focused on clarity and structural integrity, ensuring that your value proposition is delivered with the same precision as the code behind your product. It looks stunning on mobile and retina screens.
Functionally, Linear Clean includes a viral referral leaderboard to help you grow your waitlist organically. You get access to detailed analytics and the ability to export your data for use in other CRM tools at any time. Pro users can take advantage of custom domains and integrated email broadcasts. The code is optimized for extreme speed and total mobile responsiveness.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Roadvale, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Roadmaps that stay honest after Monday” and the subhead says “Roadvale links every roadmap item to real shipped work, so product teams see progress without chasing status updates.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Linear, you replace Roadvale with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Linear is a light template: a white background (#fafaf7), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a blue accent (#5e6ad2) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 18.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with a pulsing dot grid, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Linear's own.

How it compares
Within Tech, Linear stands out for its blue accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, Vercel flips to a dark near-black canvas with a white accent and op-art stripes that vibrate (“Pure black + white. Ship-ready feel”). Stripe is also light but leans on an indigo accent and a slowly flowing gradient (“Warm purple gradients, finance polish”). Notion is also light but leans on a charcoal accent and an animated type layer (“Hand-set serif, paper warmth”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
Launch with Linear in three steps
- Click “Use this template” and create a free account; Linear is preselected in the page wizard.
- Replace the Roadvale demo copy with your product's headline and one-line pitch, pick a URL, and optionally set a launch date to show a real countdown.
- Publish and share the link. Every subscriber gets a personal referral link, and you watch signups and top referrers arrive in the dashboard.
