About the Hayfield template

Hayfield captures golden-hour countryside: pale yellow background with warm ochre accents and dark brown text evoking cut hay and low-angle sunlight. Agricultural startups, farmstand operators, and slow-living brands use this palette because it's literally late-afternoon field color. Warmth is genuine and unhurried, creating seasonal time passage rather than algorithmic urgency—ideal for audiences valuing rhythm and harvest over growth-at-all-costs metrics.

What the demo shows

The live demo on this page launches Haybarrow, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Dinner from one field away” and the subhead says “Haybarrow delivers weekly boxes from nearby regenerative farms, with a handwritten note from the farmer who grew it.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Hayfield, you replace Haybarrow with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.

Design details

Hayfield is a light template: a cream background (#fef3c7), brown type (#3f2f0e) and an orange accent (#ca8a04) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 11.6:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with grass swaying in the wind, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Sunset layout, shared with 47 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Hayfield's own.

How it compares

Within Nature, Hayfield stands out for its orange accent on a cream ground. If it is not quite right, Olive Grove is also light but leans on a dark green accent and leaves tumbling through the frame (“Silver leaf, sun-bleached”). Cypress Alley flips to a dark deep teal canvas with a white accent and a swaying forest silhouette (“Dark spires, gravel path”). Lemon Orchard is also light but leans on an emerald accent and leaves tumbling through the frame (“Bright fruit, green leaf”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
