What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Shiftgear, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Database migrations at light speed” and the subhead says “Shiftgear runs zero-downtime SQL migrations with automatic rollbacks, so schema changes stop being a Friday-night gamble.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Hyperdrive, you replace Shiftgear with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Hyperdrive is a dark template: a near-black blue background (#020617), pale sky blue type (#dbeafe) and a sky blue accent (#60a5fa) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 16.5:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with stars streaking past at warp speed, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. The layout is hand-built for Hyperdrive and not shared with any other template in the catalogue.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Hyperdrive stands out for its sky blue accent on a near-black blue ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Holodeck is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and a glowing hex grid (“Yellow grid simulation chamber”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
