About the Comet Trail template
Cyan #22d3ee traces across midnight #0c1233, evoking a celestial arc caught mid-flight. Sci-fi communities, space-tech startups, and futurist marketing love this direction—it promises velocity and wonder. The accent feels less neon, more aurora, giving it a softer sci-fi edge than full cyberpunk. Use Qubed's referral leaderboard to let early adopters compete for top billings among the stars.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Streakline, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Know where every satellite is” and the subhead says “Streakline gives developers a simple API for real-time orbital positions, pass predictions, and conjunction alerts.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Comet Trail, you replace Streakline with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Comet Trail is a dark template: a deep blue background (#0c1233), pale cyan type (#cffafe) and a vivid cyan accent (#22d3ee) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 16.3:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with the odd shooting star, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Hyperdrive layout, shared with 2 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Comet Trail's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Comet Trail stands out for its vivid cyan accent on a deep blue ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Mars Red is also dark but leans on a red accent and slowly orbiting planets (“Crimson dust, distant horizon”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
