What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Emberjet, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Watch your solar power flow” and the subhead says “Emberjet is a tiny clip-on monitor that shows where your home's solar energy goes, live, right on your phone.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Quasar Red, you replace Emberjet with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Quasar Red is a dark template: a near-black vermilion background (#1a0a06), pale orange type (#fed7aa) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 14.2:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with shafts of light falling through the frame, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Spotlight layout, shared with 111 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Quasar Red's own.

How it compares
Within Sci-Fi, Quasar Red stands out for its red accent on a near-black vermilion ground. If it is not quite right, Matrix is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and green code raining down the screen (“Falling code rain. Pure cyberpunk”). Star Wars Galaxy is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and an opening crawl through a starfield (“Parallax starfield, far far away”). Cosmic Dust is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and dust motes floating in the light (“Suspended dust, pale gold”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
