What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Scriptling, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Typed scripts. No config. No build step.” and the subhead says “Scriptling runs single-file typed scripts with sandboxed permissions, built-in formatting and dependencies pulled straight from URLs.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Deno Charcoal, you replace Scriptling with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Deno Charcoal is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1c1917), white type (#fafafa) and a vivid cyan accent (#22d3ee) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 16.8:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with falling rain streaks, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Deno Charcoal's own.

How it compares
Within Tech, Deno Charcoal stands out for its vivid cyan accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Turbo Red is also dark but leans on a red accent and flowing contour lines (“Repo red, cache hit”). Next.js Black is also dark but leans on a white accent and a slow-twinkling starfield (“Pure black framework”). Remix Blue is also dark but leans on a sky blue accent and a network of nodes linking up (“Web fundamentals, cobalt”).
