Pick this if you are launching an open-source project, a back-end utility, or a high-performance database tool. It is probably too aggressive for a wellness app or a luxury jewelry brand. The layout is focused on technical clarity, ensuring that your engineering claims are the centerpiece of the user experience. It looks incredibly professional on mobile and desktop screens, maintaining its high-contrast edge across all devices.

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Mossbase, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Realtime data, self-hosted, zero drama.” and the subhead says “Mossbase is an open-source realtime database layer you run on one small box, with auth and row-level rules built in.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Supabase, you replace Mossbase with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Supabase is a dark template: a charcoal background (#1f1f1f), off-white type (#ededed) and an emerald accent (#3ecf8e) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 14.1:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with scrolling terminal output, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Minimal layout, shared with 137 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Supabase's own.

How it compares
Within Tech, Supabase stands out for its emerald accent on a charcoal ground. If it is not quite right, Cursor is also dark but leans on a light indigo accent and scrolling terminal output (“Slate dark, indigo cursor blink”). Arc flips to a light white canvas with a vivid violet accent and an iridescent sheen that shifts hue (“Iridescent gradient, browser tab look”). Perplexity flips to a light white canvas with a dark cyan accent and ink blooming through water (“Ink answer, soft cyan accent”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
