What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Shutterhum, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Stories from malls after closing” and the subhead says “An audio fiction podcast set in a shopping mall that stayed open in an alternate 1994, one empty storefront per episode.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Empty Food Court, you replace Shutterhum with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Empty Food Court is a dark template: a deep violet background (#1a0a2e), pale pink type (#fce7f3) and a light pink accent (#f472b6) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 15.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with soft out-of-focus bokeh lights, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Empty Food Court's own.

How it compares
Within Vaporwave, Empty Food Court stands out for its light pink accent on a deep violet ground. If it is not quite right, Midnight Taxi is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and falling rain streaks (“Cab yellow, rain glass”). Deep Purple Sun is also dark but leans on a vivid pink accent and a striped synth sun over a grid horizon (“Half sun, hot horizon”). Neon Grid Floor is also dark but leans on a vivid pink accent and a receding neon grid (“Magenta grid, blue glow”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
