About the Palm Silhouette template

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Hotsky Type, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Retro typefaces with sunset energy” and the subhead says “An indie type foundry releasing chrome, brush and outline display fonts inspired by 80s album covers, licensed for commercial work.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Palm Silhouette, you replace Hotsky Type with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Palm Silhouette is a dark template: a near-black pink background (#1a0510), pale pink type (#fce7f3) and a light pink accent (#f472b6) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 16.6:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with an animated palms layer, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Sunset layout, shared with 47 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Palm Silhouette's own.

How it compares
Within Vaporwave, Palm Silhouette stands out for its light pink accent on a near-black pink ground. If it is not quite right, Fluorescent Aisle flips to a light pale pink canvas with a light violet accent and a slowly flowing gradient (“Empty store, pink hum”). Blockbuster is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and Memphis-style squiggles and shapes (“Rental yellow, blue carpet”). Arcade Token is also dark but leans on a vivid amber accent and tumbling coins (“Brass coin, neon slot”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
