What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Chromeyear, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Clothes for a future that ran late” and the subhead says “Chromeyear drops limited runs of reflective outerwear and chrome-print hoodies inspired by old ideas of what tomorrow would look like.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Retrofuture, you replace Chromeyear with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Retrofuture is a dark template: a deep violet background (#1a0a2e), pale pink type (#fbcfe8) and a light cyan accent (#67e8f9) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 13.5:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with floating chrome orbs, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Cyber-Glitch layout, shared with 84 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Retrofuture's own.

How it compares
Within Vaporwave, Retrofuture stands out for its light cyan accent on a deep violet ground. If it is not quite right, 8tracks Pink flips to a light pale pink canvas with a vivid pink accent and bouncing equalizer bars (“Mixtape pink, slow song”). Cyber Palms is also dark but leans on a light pink accent and vaporwave grids and statues (“Dark palms, magenta grid”). Holiday Inn is also dark but leans on an emerald accent and strings of festive lights (“Green sign, parking lot”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
