About the Hopper Diner template
Hopper Diner channels Edward Hopper's isolated diners: jet-black background with acid-yellow accents and cream text glowing like neon in deep night. Storytellers, indie filmmakers, and nostalgic entrepreneurs choose this palette to evoke solitude, longing, and Americana simultaneously. Yellow-on-black creates uncomfortable visual tension mirroring Hopper's emotional weight, transforming your waitlist from transaction into narrative beginning—the opening scene of something larger.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Nighthawk, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “The café that's open when you are.” and the subhead says “A late-night co-working café for insomniacs and night-shift builders. Bottomless coffee, no small talk.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Hopper Diner, you replace Nighthawk with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Hopper Diner is a dark template: a near-black background (#0a0a0a), white type (#fafafa) and a vivid amber accent (#facc15) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 19:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with falling rain streaks, front and centre; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Hopper Diner's own.

How it compares
Within Art / Abstract, Hopper Diner stands out for its vivid amber accent on a near-black ground. If it is not quite right, Pollock Drip flips to a light white canvas with a near-black accent and an animated brush layer (“Action paint, splatter”). Lichtenstein Dot flips to a light white canvas with a red accent and halftone dot patterns (“Comic ben-day dot”). Krasner Brush flips to a light pale sky blue canvas with a near-black accent and an animated brush layer (“Forceful brush, cool grey”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
