About the Rothko template
Rothko sets two soft fields of color against each other — a deep burnt-sienna ground (#7c2d12) warmed by an amber glow (#fbbf24) — and lets the space between them do the talking. What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Stillfield, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Sit with a color for ten minutes.” and the subhead says “A meditation app built on slow-shifting color fields instead of voices. Breathe, look, reset.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Rothko, you replace Stillfield with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Rothko is a dark template: a brown background (#7c2d12), cream type (#fef3c7) and a vivid amber accent (#fbbf24) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 8.4:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with an animated fields layer, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Rothko's own.

How it compares
Within Art / Abstract, Rothko stands out for its vivid amber accent on a brown ground. If it is not quite right, Warhol Pop flips to a light pale pink canvas with a vivid pink accent and Memphis-style squiggles and shapes (“Cyan/magenta soup-can repeat”). Banksy Stencil flips to a light white canvas with a red accent and balloons floating upward (“Spray-paint grit, red balloon”). Fluxus flips to a light cream canvas with a near-black accent and halftone dot patterns (“DIY zine, found-text scraps”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
