About the Rothko Orange template
Rothko Orange meditates on two glowing fields—burnt-orange above, cream below, separated by the invisible horizon of modernist color theory. This abstract aesthetic appeals to galleries, art collectives, and founders making tools for creative industries. Custom domains let you stake a claim in cultural space rather than the generic web.
What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Emberlamp, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Wake up to warmer light.” and the subhead says “A sunrise lamp that paints your wall in two slow fields of color before your alarm goes off.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Rothko Orange, you replace Emberlamp with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Rothko Orange is a light template: a cream background (#fef3c7), brown type (#7c2d12) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 8.4:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with an animated fields layer, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Rothko Orange's own.

How it compares
Within Art / Abstract, Rothko Orange stands out for its red accent on a cream ground. If it is not quite right, Turner Storm flips to a dark charcoal canvas with a vivid amber accent and storm clouds and flashes of lightning (“Tempest brush, sea spray”). Great Wave flips to a dark deep blue canvas with a white accent and rolling waves (“Indigo wave, foam fingers”). Hiroshige Rain flips to a dark deep blue canvas with a white accent and falling rain streaks (“Bridge in evening rain”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
