About the Fluxus template
Fluxus captures energy of hand-pasted, photocopied zines—bright cream paper with crude black text and heavy-handed accents announcing 'this was made in spite of, not because of, commercial tools.' DIY artists, underground publishers, and independent cultural magazines use this palette to position art-making as punk act. Every element feels intentional because it had to be fought for. What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Scrapbook FM, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Your group chat, printed as a zine.” and the subhead says “Upload screenshots, voice notes and memes; we print a messy monthly zine for you and your friends.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Fluxus, you replace Scrapbook FM with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Fluxus is a light template: a cream background (#fef3c7), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a near-black accent (#0c0a09) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 17.7:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with halftone dot patterns, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Manifesto layout, shared with 93 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Fluxus's own.

How it compares
Within Art / Abstract, Fluxus stands out for its near-black accent on a cream ground. If it is not quite right, Swiss Grid is also light but leans on a red accent and Bauhaus circles, squares and bars (“Helvetica sermon. Red column”). Dieter Rams is also light but leans on a red accent and a pulsing dot grid (“Ten principles. Cool grey”). Futura Bold is also light but leans on a near-black accent and an animated type layer (“1927 geometry. Black on cream”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
