About the Swiss Grid template

Swiss Grid strips layout to bare essentials—off-white canvas, Helvetica reverence, decisive red accent column. This template channels international typographic style, grid systems, and the brutal honesty of Swiss design. Minimalist brands, design studios, and modernist thinkers immediately recognize kinship. Your referral leaderboard becomes a grid of names itself.

What the demo shows

The live demo on this page launches Gridline, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Layouts that obey.” and the subhead says “A CSS layout tool that generates Swiss-style grid systems with perfect baselines. Copy, paste, done.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Swiss Grid, you replace Gridline with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.

Design details

Swiss Grid is a light template: a white background (#fafaf7), near-black type (#0c0a09) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 18.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with Bauhaus circles, squares and bars, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Editorial layout, shared with 55 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Swiss Grid's own.

How it compares

Within Art / Abstract, Swiss Grid stands out for its red accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, Dieter Rams is also light but leans on a red accent and a pulsing dot grid (“Ten principles. Cool grey”). Futura Bold is also light but leans on a near-black accent and an animated type layer (“1927 geometry. Black on cream”). Matisse Cut-Out is also light but leans on a vivid cyan accent and leaves tumbling through the frame (“Bold paper shapes”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.

Launch with Swiss Grid in three steps

  1. Click “Use this template” and create a free account; Swiss Grid is preselected in the page wizard.
  2. Replace the Gridline demo copy with your product's headline and one-line pitch, pick a URL, and optionally set a launch date to show a real countdown.
  3. Publish and share the link. Every subscriber gets a personal referral link, and you watch signups and top referrers arrive in the dashboard.
