About the Ukiyo-e template

What the demo shows
The live demo on this page launches Woodblock, a made-up product we wrote to show the template with realistic copy: the headline reads “Prints from a floating world.” and the subhead says “A limited run of hand-carved woodblock prints of modern cities, made the slow way in a Kyoto studio.” Below it you see the signup form, a demo launch countdown and the share-to-climb referral panel exactly as a visitor would. Try the form: in the demo nothing is stored. When you use Ukiyo-e, you replace Woodblock with your own product name, headline, subhead and logo; the palette and motion come with it and every colour stays editable.
Design details
Ukiyo-e is a light template: a white background (#fafaf7), dark blue type (#1e3a8a) and a red accent (#dc2626) on the join button, the countdown and the referral highlights. Body text sits at a 9.9:1 contrast ratio against the background, comfortably past the WCAG AAA threshold. Behind the copy the page animates with rolling waves, clearly visible; visitors who ask their device for reduced motion get a still frame instead. Structurally it uses the Editorial layout, shared with 55 other templates, but the palette, the motion and the demo copy are Ukiyo-e's own.

How it compares
Within Art / Abstract, Ukiyo-e stands out for its red accent on a white ground. If it is not quite right, Picasso Blue flips to a dark dark blue canvas with a pale sky blue accent and low rolling fog (“Cobalt period, gaunt forms”). Mondrian Grid is also light but leans on a red accent and Bauhaus circles, squares and bars (“Black bars, primaries pop”). Klimt Gold flips to a dark near-black canvas with a vivid amber accent and threads of gold weaving through (“Hammered gold, geometric”). All of them share the same signup, referral and analytics features, so switching later only changes the look.
